Tachyon Travels

Discover. Survive. Reclaim.

An alien expedition fell to Earth. We don't know what they came for. We don't know why they failed. What we do know is that they brought the quantum technology needed to harness tachyons, and we are starting to fold spacetime using it. Jump through their Tachyon Gates back into real moments of human history.

And they're coming back!

The game

Real history, no inventions.

Restore a crashed alien Mothership and travel across time and space in this survivors-like + incremental for history lovers. Fight to recover our civilization's treasures. Discover humanity's ancient Wonders. Try to escape the Loop. And prepare, because whoever built the Mothership is coming back!

Horde combat against Echo waves at a real historical site

Walk into the past - survivors-like

On the other side of a Tachyon Gate you can expect to find a real historical place: a Roman amphitheater, a Celtic hillfort, a Viking battlefield. The Echoes waiting there are warriors and sages who lived and died at that place, and they come at you in survivors-like waves. Release them, and they leave behind what their century knew: impressive artifacts, powerful weapons, the wisdom-filled pages of real books they wrote. Each time-jump you make is one moment of human history, recovered.

Inside the Mothership as a new tier rises

The Mothership - incremental

High above everything hangs the Mothership: the crashed alien vessel you are restoring into a working industrial complex. Everything your Frame recovers rides the tether up, mid-battle, straight into the refinery. Refine it, raise stations, run production lines, and let the drones assemble your Frame's actual capabilities: steadier servos, a stabilized reticle, auto-fire, and one day auto-aim. Auto-fire is not a setting here, it is a capability you slowly build.

The Mothership is an idler: the work continues while you're away, and you return to full hoppers, finished components, new sections of the console waking up. Then comes the real decision: a stronger Frame, an Orbital Cannon to rain shells into your next battle, engines to move the Mothership itself, or the one project that opens the way out.

The Library, with shelves of recovered books and an open volume

Read what they left

In the Library, you read the real books the Echoes left behind: Marcus Aurelius's Meditations, Beowulf, the Iliad, fragments whose authors history forgot. Their pages are hard-won, as you only gain them from Elites and Boss Echoes at the end of difficult bullet-hell battles. Read the past in its own words, learn its history and the myths that survived it.

And here, reading pays. The Mothership's systems calibrate to what you understand: the more of the past you've truly read, the faster its lines run. Find every secret a book holds and it will point you to a Site no one marked on any map.

A real Wonder beneath the Mothership

Escape the Loop - roguelike

Out in the dark, a signal is racing home, and every tier you raise brings them a little closer. You will not finish in time: the Signal always arrives before the build order is done. But what you know survives. Your hands remember the Frame, the ship remembers its works, what you read stays read. Every Loop begins stronger and reaches deeper, and at the top of the build ladder waits the Tachyon Drive, the launch, the way out. It is real. Go find it.

Tachyon travel into the past, not as an observer but as the one who carries it back. The artifacts, the weapons, the books, the Wonders. They are real, and they are yours to recover.

Discover. Survive. Reclaim.

And remember, they are coming back!
